Over-the-Top Wi-Fi Monitoring
While it may look like it, no, this is not something you'd find in a flight cockpit... unless it's on the pilot's laptop.
This is the Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor Windows gadget - a desktop gadget that monitors (and then some) your wireless Internet connection.
Personally, I think it's a bit over the top but who am I to judge? Maybe it's just what you're looking for. I have to admit - it is cool. Plus it's free, so you might as well download it and stare at it for a while.
The Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor works on the Windows 7 desktop or Windows Vista Sidebar.
